Finally, an update!
We have been so busy this summer. The end of the school year was so hectic. Between soccer, Abby's birthday, end of year field trips, and Abby's dance recital May went by like a flash! Abby is now a big six year old. She reminds us quite often that they are many more things she can do now that she is six. The kids got out of school on June 3rd and we left for vacation on June 7th. This year we went to DisneyWorld! We had so much fun, but it was very hot!!! We were very lucky though, it wasn't to crowded while we were there. We didn't have to wait in lines to long, which was very nice, and the kids were all troopers. They all did so well, not one of them got to tired to walk, and they all enjoyed riding everything. The boys were able to ride everything, and there were only a couple of rides that Abby was not tall enough for. We did find out that Abby is a DAREDEVIL! We rode the new roller coaster at the Animal Kingdom, and she and I rode in the front car. We tried to get Cory and Brady to do it, but they were not very excited about the idea. So, she was happy to take their place.
After we got back from Disney, we were home for a week then we left again to head to Birmingham. On the way down we got to stay overnight with our friends John & Audra Headley in Nashville. (Those of you in B'ham that is Audra Bond) We went straight from Nashville to Panama City we stayed down at the beach for a long weekend, then came back to Birmingham. The water at the beach was really nice, and there were plenty of waves, which I must say we all enjoyed! We went to the lake again while we were in B'ham, which we of course enjoyed. We were hoping to get Cory up on skis this year, but no such luck this time. While we were in Birmingham, we got to see family, but we also finally got to spend some time with our niece that was born prematurely in January. She is doing really well, and it was really nice to get to see her. Cory, Brady & Abby love having cousins to play with, but of course Abby is happiest of all since it is all girls.
Since coming back to Ohio, we have stayed busy with trying to catch up from being gone so much in June. Cory had to go to the orthodontist this morning and they asked him if he was ready for school to start back, and he answered quickly and emphatically NO! He told them I haven't had much time at home to play with friends. So, guess what the rest of our summer will consist of? Playing with friends and going to the pool! I hope everyone's summer is going well so far, it is so hard to believe it is almost over. More pics to come asap.
